Today I started off to work with a bag of snacks. A couple of days before, I promised the kids to throw a party today, all of them are supposed to bring some snacks and share with each other. I told them if they want, they can bring gifts to exchange, since Christmas is around the corner, might as well make it a Christmas party. After arranging the tables, I laid out all the snacks on the tables and monitored them while they exchange gifts.. I have to remind myself not to let them do this again because, apparently, kids are incapable of exchanging stuff quietly without complains of sizes and so on. I have to buy one for a kid who can't find anybody to exchange with her..sigh.. The day went pretty well. Kids ate, talked, laughed and played musical chairs. Took pictures, after all the chaos, it ended well. After that I started cleaning up the mess and one of the girls, so kindly to have noticed that I was cleaning, asked me: " Teacher, why are you cleaning like a maid? " Gosh...I should have told her because I was playing Cinderella..instead I just smiled lamely. At least my " daughter" helped me, she's so adorable! Can't blame me for taking a liking to her, and..just between you and me, I prepared gifts for the kids, guess what? I wrapped the biggest gift for her, wahaha.. a maid, am I?
